Behavioural Problems 

Common behavioural issues can include:

Disrespectful behaviour.  
Unable to halter, barging especially while leading,  
Fear of worming.  
Fear of being tied up i.e. pulling back & snapping ropes. 
kicking, running through you.  
Training for hosepipe and fly spray.  
Not standing still, 
Leading issues: rushing when leading out to the field, pulling away, rearing, kicking out at the handler with hind legs or lashing out in front, refusal to move, dragging the handler, turning round and bolting back to the field. 

Spooking & Napping 

Nervous horses that spook and nap.  
Training for flags, flowerpots, water. 
Building confidence for new situations by building trust with you. 

Leading & Loading 

One of the most common issues we come across is horses that haven’t been correctly taught to trailer load or box load.  
Horses that won’t lead or pull off.  
Not standing still, rushing when leading out to the field or go through gateways. Even if this a problem you only experience when you are at shows, it is still actually a problem that needs to be solved at your home yard or stables. It is often due to a lack of leadership in the way a horse will understand and this becomes a lack of trust. 

Head Shy Horses 

Head-lowering for high headed horses. 
Horses that avoid the bridle, halter/head collar. 
Administrating eye ointment.  
Horses that have been ear-twitched. 
Fear of worming 

Legs & Tack Problems
